Science Time - Preschoolers are curious and they want to know - how does everything work!? Each week the children will be presented with materials and encouraged to ask questions about what they see. Then - we’re off to conduct experiments and make creations to learn facts about EVERYTHING while introducing new vocabulary. Examples of lesson plans include:
- How Do Batteries Work & Robot Battery Making
- Learning About Carbon Dioxide and Creating it out of Baking Soda and Vinegar to Blow Up Balloons
- Learning about the Three Types of Finger Prints & Discovering What Kind We Have
Each child will be provided with a lab coat and lab book to document/draw observations.

Teacher: Debbie Leibowitz
Miss Debbie has been a beloved local preschool teacher for over 30 years and we are thrilled to have her cultivate new after school programming for our preschool aged children. These classes will be hour long and are a perfect way to engage and educate your preschooler while your baby or toddler plays in our play-space or participates in their own class! These are also perfect for children who are home-schooled. Debbie's classes are non-parent classes, so caregivers without younger children are welcome to use our internet cafe.
