Multiples Mama Group
Mamas of Multiples - there is nothing like what you are experiencing right now. Only you know what it's like to find out you were carrying multiples and suddenly there was a whole new world to explore and
learn about that not every new mom understands. Each new day with twins, triplets, or more poses new challenges that just aren’t always in the baby books! Parenting multiples is a magical experience as you watch your little begin to notice one another and witness the formation of that beautiful bond. This group will not only help educate and support this amazing journey, but create a space where mothers can find solidarity and understanding in their fellow Mamas of Multiples tribe.

Carla is a local single mother by choice to 3-year-old identical twin girls. She has always had a passion for working with children and has over 10 years of experience working with a diverse population of children from newborns to teenagers. Due to her passion for newborn care, Carla recently earned her certification as a Specialist in Newborn Care and has worked with parents of multiples to adjust to life in the 4th trimester. Currently, she is working on her certification as a postpartum doula. She also holds a Masters in Teaching and has used this at the high school level to create support groups and peer
relationships with teenage girls. Carla is excited for the opportunity to be able to share her personal experience and knowledge of caring for multiples with fellow local parents.
