Nature + Nurture
Share a special moment with your child each week, as you explore the relationship between art and science in the world around us! Indoor and outdoor art projects will engage children and adults alike. Each class will include one ‘brain-building’ activity as well as a selection of open-ended activities to encourage free play and socialization. All caregivers are welcome however fathers are strongly encouraged to participate.
Enrollment in class includes free open play immediate before or after class.
Best for ages 1.5-4 years
Saturdays from 9:30 - 10:30

Teacher: Danielle Twigg, Ed.D
Danielle Twigg, Ed.D. is the Owner and Lead Consultant at Little Bird Consulting. She is mother as well as a noted expert in early childhood education and independent schooling. Danielle is a certified teacher with a specialization in early childhood education (birth - age 8). She also holds certification as a child care director in Massachusetts, and is an active parent advocate on the Massachusetts Association for Gifted Education (MAGE).
Over the course of her career, she has taught in early childhood settings, public and private schools and as a university lecturer for undergraduate and graduate students. She has a passion for lifelong learning that is contagious! Her positive attitude and enthusiasm for education along with a sense of humor and big smile bring the best out in her students--regardless of age.
As a mother herself, she understands how important it is for children to have enjoyable learning experiences . In addition to her work with young children, Danielle loves to support parents in finding ways to balance the hard work of care-giving and well-earned relaxation time!
