As a small business our general rule is that all purchases are nonrefundable. However, as parents ourselves, we understand that sometimes even the best laid plans don’t always go the way we expected. If you find that you need to withdraw from a class, activity or event, the options are outlined below:
COVID-19 POLICIES - until further notice:
Masks are currently optional for all adults and children (aged 2 years and older), however we reserve the right to change this at any time based on local recommendations.
Masks are not recommended for children under 2yrs old
All adults and children must wash or sanitize hands before and frequently throughout participation in any activities
All adults and children must stay home if they or anyone else in their family have any symptoms of illness
Capacity and restrictions for activities and events will follow state and local guidelines and will be updated as needed
No Refunds: If classes or events are missed or canceled due to illness or due to guidance from local authorities regarding COVID-19 or any other health/safety risk, we will do our best to reschedule remaining activities/classes at a future date or provide alternative options
OUTDOOR / SUMMER CLASSES
No Refunds: For classes cancelled due to illness, weather, or health and safety reasons
If a class is cancelled due to weather, we will do our best to reschedule for another time and/or to provide alternative options
VIRTUAL CLASSES We don't currently have a way to automate sending the URLs through Square, so they will be sent to everyone via email 12-24 hours before the class
If you sign up less than 24hrs before the first class, we will do our best to get the link to you before the class starts OR you will receive a recording of the missed classes once they are available to everyone
REGULAR CLASS SESSIONS
No Refunds. If you need to switch to another class, we will help you find an alternative (if available)
If you need to miss a class due to travel during the session or illness (we strongly request you stay home with any signs of illness, see our health policy here)
Please give us as much advance notice as possible (email preferred, call or Facebook PM also OK)
OFF-SESSION: Specialty, Pop-up Classes, Events, Child Care & Workshops
Are nonrefundable, but in rare occasions, when we have enough notice and can fill your spot with another person, you may receive a credit of equal value towards another class or service (to be used within one calendar year and may be subject to a 10% processing fee)
SPECIAL EVENTS & BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Are nonrefundable, but in most cases we will be happy to work with you to reschedule your event to another available spot, even if it’s for the following year
If Marblehead Parenting needs to cancel activities, classes, events, child care, workshops, parties, etc. due to factors outside of our control (including weather, illness, under enrollment, public health & safety, or other unforeseen reasons) we will do our best to offer a suitable make-up option.
If you can’t participate in the rescheduled make-up option we may offer (at our discretion)
The same number of canceled class(es) to towards eligible drop-in class(es) or single Open Play visit(s) within the same session (subject to availability)
